Biography

Lorenzo began his commitment as an advocate when he was a student at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He was coordinator of the Youth Program for the Santa Barbara Housing Authority. After graduation, Lorenzo worked in the Los Compadres program as a health educator. When he moved to the Bay Area, he worked at the Wiltin Law Office and at the Instituto Laboral de la Raza as a paralegal on workers’ compensation. Currently, Lorenzo is a paralegal in personal injury and wage and hour cases. He is in law school and is fluent in Spanish.

Personal Background / Languages: Lorenzo was born in Michoacán, Mexico. He immigrated with his family to California when he was 13 years old. One of his passions is performing traditional Aztec dance.
