Biography

Un Kei advocates for employees both individually and in class form regarding their employment. She has represented hundreds of employees in recovering their unpaid wages, overtime, breaks and lunches, and misclassification of employees. She also represents employees who experience discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and sexual harassment cases.

Un Kei has been successful in resolving many labor disputes and has obtained favorable settlements on behalf of its employees. If litigation occurs, Un Kei is adept at all stages of the east. Un Kei was born in Macau and raised in Lima, Peru. She speaks Spanish and Cantonese Chinese. Clients benefit from her language skills that lead to good relationships with clients. Un Kei received her Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University Law School. During her time at law school, she was a member of the Moot Court Board and the GGU’s Asian American Law Students Association. She was also a student at GGU’s Women’s Employments Right Clinic. Un Kei received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a dual BA in Linguistics and Spanish.
