Mariana is a proud Latina and firm believer in the power of advocacy. At the age of 11, Mariana moved from Puerto Rico to Boston, where her experiences navigating cultural differences and growing up in a low-income household inspired her passions for community development, cross-cultural acceptance, and social justice.
These passions propelled her to earn her B.A. in Latin American Studies at Smith College, and eventually, to join the team at Liberation Law Group as a Legal Assistant. Mariana strives to build strong relationships with clients based on transparency, compassion and respect.
When she isn’t helping clients with their cases, Mariana spends her free time dancing to Shakira, creating artwork, exploring the Bay Area and watching the latest Star Wars movies. Mariana is bilingual in English and Spanish.
