Biography

Elizabeth Lyons joined Liberation Law Group, PC in October 2020. Elizabeth has an ongoing commitment to fighting for workers’ rights and equality in the workplace. She previously worked as an investigator with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) for nine years, where she investigated and resolved cases related to workplace discrimination, racial and sexual harassment, and the unlawful retaliation. She obtained significant changes in the workplace and monetary compensation on behalf of the workers. She is committed to fighting for the unconditional right of every person to dignity and equality in the workplace.

While working for the EEOC, Elizabeth attended the evening program at the University of San Francisco School of Law. She earned a certificate in Labor Law, received the ABA-Bloomberg BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor Law and the CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Research, Writing and Analysis II, and served as President of the Student Association of Labor Law. She graduated cum laude in May 2019.
