Lorenzo began his commitment as an advocate when he was a student at UC Santa Barbara. He was Youth Program coordinator for the Santa Barbara Housing Authority. After graduation Lorenzo worked at the Community Action Commissions’ Los Compadres program as a health educator.
When he moved to the Bay Area he worked at the Wiltin Law Office and at the Instituto Laboral de la Raza as a legal assistant in Workers Compensation. Currently, Lorenzo is a legal assistant in personal injury and in wage and hour cases. He is in law school and is fluent in Spanish.
Lorenzo was born in Michoacán, Mexico. He migrated with his family to California when he was 13 years old. One of his passions is to perform traditional Aztec Dance.
